Dreamers of the Day

"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that all was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible." -T.E. War and Wisdom

There are times when I believe war (domestic or foreign) begins with miscommunication or misunderstanding or both. This is not to discount human depravity, but to account for the fact many times we assume evil for good and vice versa. Adam assumed Eve’s gift of a fruit to be good and Peter assumed the Roman’s arrest of Christ to be evil. Both assumptions led to drastic actions that altered the lives of many people. In our broken minds, we assume knowledge to be the foundation of an action, only to realize this world was not even founded by knowledge. We assume the people before us that we can see, touch, taste, feel, hear can be known, but can change to unknown thus altering the way we communicate and understand. For it is the peacemaker that understands this and can gain everyone as an ally instead of an adversary.

May my eyes be opened to see this.

Wisdom is the principle thing. Therefore get wisdom and with thy getting, get understanding. (Prov. 4:7)
